In May 2012, three visionary first-generation entrepreneurs set out on a culinary adventure in the heart of Bangalore that would soon transform into Chianti Ristorante and Wine Bar. Their shared passion for Italian food and hospitality was poured into a small 62 seater restaurant in Koramangala.

In the spirit of the Italian proverb, “La cucina piccola fa la casa grande,” meaning “The small kitchen makes the big home,” Chianti’s story resonates. It’s a tale of simplicity and authenticity. In just a few years Chianti earned its place as one of the city’s genuine Italian dining gems. The restaurant’s growth into seven locations across Bangalore is a testament to the belief that, much like a small kitchen, the spirit of true hospitality and culinary excellence can transcend spaces.

Today, with a dedicated team of over 200 professionals, Chianti continues to deliver the “Chianti Experience” seven days a week. Our journey from a small kitchen in Koramangala to multiple locations embodies creating a substantial home from humble origins – inviting everyone to truly enjoy the Italian experience.
